Stacy Massey, Founding Partner & President
Stacy Massey is President and Founding Partner of ARIN. She has degrees in Counseling Psychology and Human Development from CSU Long Beach and attended Hope International University towards a masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. She received certification as a Reproductive Health Educator from Scott and White Hospital in San Antonio, Texas and a Life Affirming Specialist Designation from International Institute of Education Standards. Stacy also received extensive training as an Outreach Specialist serving women coming out of the sex industry.
Stacy is a certificated leader with all widely used recovery curricula and her own scribed prevention model, “The Choice and Effect Project” awaits publication. She assists in the design and development of new cutting edge recovery programs; working with licensed therapists, mental health professionals, church programs, life coaches, bereavement and grief counselors. She also believes in "going out of the box" and promotes recovery opportunities through some very unique venues!
Stacy is a keynote speaker, trainer, consultant and author and has been interviewed for print, radio and television, as well as participating in television documentaries and day-time talk shows regarding teen sex, reproductive loss (abortion and miscarriage) and the psychological and emotional issues that often follow.
In 2005, Stacy founded Abortion Recovery/Awareness Month held in April of each year. The world-wide event has been endorsed by Governors: Perry, Pawlenty, Branstad, Jindal and Senators Crowe and Vitter. In 2006, she initiated and partnered with Masters’ International School of Divinity to create the first-ever certificate program in Abortion Recovery Counseling. She is now developing a Recovery Consultant Designation which will be distributed by ARIN to Affiliates who complete the course.
She is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors, where she is honored to serve on the advisory board for the AACC Crisis Pregnancy and Abortion Recovery Network. She also holds memberships in the CALLED Ministerial Network, Delta Zeta Alumni and Alamitos Bay Yacht Club. Stacy cherishes life with her 25 year old son and their extended family. God continually blows her socks off with His amazing grace, mercy and blessings!
Stacy knows personally the grief of abortion and miscarriage and dedicates her work to all of the unborn children in Heaven, especially those in her own family!
