Overview of Abortion Recovery InterNational

In the last few years (2008~2010) ARIN has connected over 100,000 people hurting from an abortion experience to an Abortion Recovery Center / Program in their area. We are honored to help people find help from the trauma of abortion.

Abortion Recovery InterNational, Inc. (ARIN) is a Christian, affiliate assocation, dedicated to connecting and assisting like-minded abortion recovery centers, programs and services; as well as individuals working within the field. ARIN is the first and only international network uniting abortion recovery efforts worldwide. ARIN also serves as a network of recovery, research, awareness and educational resources that provide information concerning after abortion issues.

ARIN has no political agenda ~ our mission is focused on healing!!

Our goals are to:

Encourage and provide healing opportunities to those hurting after abortion.
Enlighten society on the affects of abortion on individuals and families.
Educate ourselves,and the community, through awareness opportunities, continuing education, conferences and specialized training.
Establish and Equip a world-wide association of compassionate abortion recovery efforts united in mission, cohesive in nature and similar in practice.

ARIN is developing CARE Teams and Recovery CARE Centers across the United States and abroad. Our membership includes: health clinics, resource centers, churches, professional therapists, peer counselors, grief and bereavement mentors, life coaches, awareness organizations, research specialists, clergy, sexual integrity and abstinence educators, as well as the general public who support our efforts.

Divisions of ARIN

The Abortion Recovery CARE Directory, CARE Line (1-866-4-My-Recovery) and the Abortion Recovery Network are all divisions of Abortion Recovery InterNational, also known as ARIN. ARIN is an affiliate association/network of individuals and organizations providing abortion recovery efforts around the globe.

ARIN is also the founding organization for Abortion Recovery Awareness Month which takes place each April to encourage women, men and families to seek help following an abortion experience.

Mission Statement

By uniting recovery efforts ARIN will encourage and provide healing opportunities to those wounded by abortion and will enlighten society to the affects of abortion on individuals and families.

Vision Statement

Our concerted recovery efforts will restore lives and relationships which will then influence positive change on our culture.

Who is ARIN?

We're often asked, "Who is ARIN?"

Many people think that our organization is named in honor of a child in Heaven. This is not the case. ARIN was established in 2003 by Christine Jackman and Stacy Massey as a network association to support those working in the field of Abortion Recovery. Our original name for the organization was: Abortion Recovery International Network, which was later shortened in 2007 when we incorporated.

Because so many people knew us as ARIN, we felt the need to keep the acronym on some level. Thus: Abortion Recovery InterNational, Inc.

When Christine and Stacy looked up the name ARIN in a baby book, the meaning of the name Arin, was "enlightened".... which is exactly what we strive to do!

ARIN is a registered corporation with the State of California. Our corporate number is: #3062283

ARIN is completing our 501c3 filing status. We are not yet a tax exempt organization.

Abortion Recovery InterNational and our affiliates encourage individuals and families affected by abortion to have completed an abortion recovery program PRIOR to involving themselves in any type of speaking, leadership, legal, research or activism opportunity.
