Abortion Recovery Awareness Month has been celebrated by ARIN affiliates since 2005. Each ARIN Partner signs a Principle of Care Statement upon joining our association.

Sometimes, non-ARIN members wish to participate in ARAM. Because Abortion Recovery InterNational is completing the trade marking of Abortion Recovery Awareness Month (ARAM) we have created Principles of Participation for those wishing to promote and participate in ARAM, but who may not be ARIN Partners.

We firmly believe in aligning ourselves with organizations and individuals that mirror our Partnership Principles of Care to those hurting from abortion. If you, or your agency wish to participate in Abortion Recovery Awareness Month, and you are NOT an ARIN Partner, we ask that you sign this document agreeing to the following:

• The services of the individual or agency promoting or participating in ARAM are personal, confidential, non-judgmental and open to all.
  
• The individual or agency promoting or participating in ARAM agree to hold client information in strict and absolute confidence. Client information is only disclosed as required by law and when necessary to protect the client and others against imminent harm.

• The individual or agency promoting or participating in ARAM agree to always treat clients with kindness and compassion, always providing honest and open communication.
  
• The individual or agency promoting or participating in ARAM agree to NOT engage in anything that might cause shock or additional emotional distress of a client already affected by an abortion experience.
  
• The individual or agency promoting or participating in ARAM agree to not present their staff and/or its volunteers as professional therapists. (Professional. licensing credentials must be listed.)
  
• The individual or agency promoting or participating in ARAM agree to not discriminate in their services on the basis of race, gender, creed, color, national origin, age, disability, marital or financial status.
  
• The individual or agency promoting or participating in ARAM agree to not advise or refer for abortion or abortifacients.
  
• The individual or agency promoting or participating in ARAM agree that forgiveness is God's gift of grace and that because God so loves children, He allows them all to go Home. (Mark 10:14)
  
• The individual or agency promoting or participating in ARAM agree that ARAM will not be used for political purposes of any kind.
